War Emergency Police Isle of Man badge by C.Wallace Douglas

A rare original circa wartime period 'War Emergency Police lapel badge'; Crowned gilt circlet inlaid with red enamel, the centre bearing the ancient 'Triskele' symbol, with abbreviated letter title below 'W.E.P'; the reverse impressed with unusual maker's details 'C.Wallace Douglas'. Very good condition, complete with rare original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel. An excellent example.
