WW1 Staffordshire Special Constable police reserve badge

A scarce original First World War period gilt brass circular convex badge, inlaid with blue enamel, white central band across the centre 'Special Constable' surmounted by 'G Crown R' with Staffordshire Knot below. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, minor white enamel flaw to right side, gilt finish remains bright.
