A scarce original First World War official issue 'On War Service 1916 womens munition workers badge' in the form of a brass triangle, George V Crown to voided centre with 1916 below, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt & Son Ltd. London' and impressed with official issue number '414070'. Very good condition, complete with original substantial heavy duty pin fittings.
