RAF No 82 Squadron Royal Air Force silver badge c1940s

A rare original George VI period 'RAF No 82 (United Provinces) Squadron silver and enamel badge', depicting a 'Weathercock' and Latin motto 'Super Omnia Ubique' (Over all things everywhere), the reverse with India maker's details 'ORR SIL'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings with safety catch, very minor enamel loss to cockerel.
