Young Britons Organisation Junior Conservative members badge

A good original circa 1940's 'Young Britons' circular gilt membership pin badge with vivid blue enamelling depicting the 'Lion of England'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'W.O.Lewis (Badges Ltd) B'Ham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
Diameter 20 mm.

The Young Britons Organisation was formed in 1925 as the junior branch of the National Union of Conservative and Unionist Associations. It was discontinued during the war years, refomed again in 1948 and formally ended in 1965.
