Yeoward Brothers shipping line tray bearing badge SS AGUILA

A scarce original circa 1917 to 1941 period 'Steam Ship AGUILA small rectangular silver plated scalloped tray, bearing brass and enamel badge with King George V crowned strap and 'Yeoward Brothers' house flag to centre. Good condition, minor wear to silver plating, no damage to the enamel.
Size 92 x 72mm.

In 1941 Steamship AGUILA was sunk by a torpedo from a 'German Submarine U-201' with the loss of many lives.
