WW1 On War Service 1916 womens munition workers modified badge Wylie & Co

A scarce original First World War official issue ADAPTED '1916 women's Munition Workers brass trianglular pin badge' bearing George V Crown to voided centre with 1916 below, the pointed corners now modified and rounded off; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Wylie & Co. London' and official issue number '183478' with an attempted erase. Good condition, complete with original substantial heavy duty pin fittings.
