Queen Victoria 1897 Jubilee celluloid tin button badge with provenance

A rare original 'Queen Victoria 1897 Jubilee coloured celluloid tin button badge' simply inscribed VICTORIA 1837 1897' depicting a head and shoulder of the young Victoria and the elderly Queen in1897 with printed 'Registered 283.921' ; the reverse still retaining it original card insert inscribed 'LAWRENCE HOUNDIITCH. LONDON, AGENT. Made in the U.S.A The Whitehead & Hoac Co. 96. 98 Leadenhall St., E.C. London'. Very good clean condition, complete with a hand written 1897 account on the back of an envelope stating when and where it was worn.
