Civil Defence Corps First Aid cloth uniform sleeve badge

A scarce original circa 1949 to 1968 Cold War period 'Civil Defence Corps First Aid sleeve badge' worn on the lower part of the left sleeve bearing yellow silk embroidered Maltese Cross with 'First Aid' title on black felt backing with hessian lining. Very good used condition, shows evidence of having been removed from uniform.
Diameter 50mm.

In 1968 the Civil Defence organisations were disbanded.
