Comprising: 1914/15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal, medals loose and complete with original silk ribbons. All three medals named to the Middlesex Regiment.

Private Charles Bates from Beconsfield Buckinghamshire, enlisted into the Middlesex Regiment and landed in France on the 25th July 1915. On the 21st July 1916 his name appeared in the War Department Report of Wounded with Shell Shock. Returning to active duty he served with the Labour Corps and received his discharge on the 6th March 1919.
