Butlins holiday camp red numbered STAFF badge

A rare original 'Butlin's holiday camp staff badge'; gilt brass triangular example inlaid with red enamel, inscribed 'BUTlIN'S STAFF', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London' and official issue number '840'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no chips to the enamel, some dark marks underglaze, gilt finish remains bright.
