Labour Party League of Youth political membership badge

A scarce original circa 1930's 1940's period 'The Labour Party League of Youth membership gilt and enamel badge' depicting two young girls supporting a red flag, the reverse impressed with maker's details in relief 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
Height 33mm.

The Labour League of Youth' had 30,000 supporting members In the 1930s. It was closed down in 1954.
