Royal Masonic Freemasons Hospital 1929 silver jewel Sidney Coatsworth

A good original early 1920's period 'Royal Masonic Freemasons Hospital medal', designed by C.L.J. Doman, it shows the symbolic figure of humanity succouring the sick, surmounted by the five pointed Masonic star with motto below 'Aegros Sanat Humanitas' (Kindness Heals the Sick) and interlaced letters 'FH' (Freemasons Hospital); the reverse impressed with London silver hallmarks for 1929, maker's details 'R.J' (Sir Robert Arthur Johnson, Deputy Master and Comptroller of the Royal Mint from 1922 to 1938) and inscribed 'Bros.S.H.Coatsworth No.2128'. Very good clean condition, complete with original blue silk ribbon with pin fittings and housed in its original named and numbered card case.
