A rare original pre war 'Robertson's Golly Cricketer Essex County badge', wearing a yellow waistcoat, displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred' and resting on an 'Essex' scroll, the reverse stamped in relief with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd B'Ham.18 REGd APPd'. Excellent condition, complete with original coiled pin fittings and hook catch, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. Complete with display card stating 'The World's Best Marmalades Golden Shred Silver Shred' 'With Compliments James Robertson's Preserves Reg. Design'.
