A scarce original First World War period 'Manchester War Hospital Supply Workrooms 1916 gilt and enamel war workers badge'; circular medal with title surround in white, the centre bearing a fretted red rose, all suspended from a blue enamel bar inscribed 'Dover House', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
