Association of Women Clerks & Secretaries AWCS union badge 1903 to 1941

A scarce original circa pre 1941 period 'Association of Women Clerks and Secretaries union gilt and enamel rectangle pin badge', depicting a Auk Seabird placed in front of a rising sun with initials 'AWCS'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London' and 'REGd No 675371'. Excellent condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
