A scarce original First World War period 'On His Majesty's Service 'John Brown & Co Ltd Clydebank, Scotland' gilt and enamel lapel badge, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'W.J.Dingley B'Ham' and official issue number '6284'. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, gilt finish remains bright, surface chip to the enamel in the 11 o'clock position, not spoiling the appearance.
