Boys Brigade Cross For Heroism bronze medal

A rare original post 1941 period full sized 'The Cross For Heroism award of the Boys Brigade', in the form of a ornamental, square-limbed Maltese Cross bearing embossed BB Sure & Stedfast anchor backed by a 'Geneva Cross' within a title surround, the reverse is unnamed. Very good clean condition, complete with original blue silk ribbon and bronze suspension bar with original pin fittings and housed in a dark navy leather case without markings. An excellent example.
Height overall 74mm.

The 'Boys' Brigade Cross For Heroism' is given to a boy member who has shown heroism and courage in saving or attempting to save a life.
