WW1 Putney Red Cross Hosptal War Emergency Supply Depot Badge

A scarce original First World War period war hospital supply depot badge, in the form of gilt Maltese Cross inlaid with blue enamel, each of the arms bearing War Emergency Supply Depot, the red cross to the centre inscribed 'PUTNEY. Very good condition, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright to the badge, but with safety pin device not original to the badge. Price reflects.
