WW1 On War Service 1914 munition workers badge A79.273 W.J.Dingley

A good original First World War period circular gilt badge with central Crown and title surround 'On War Service 1914' inlaid with dark blue enamel, the reverse impressed with scarce maker's details 'W.J.Dingley B'Ham' and unusual official issue number 'A79.273'. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, stains to gilt finish.
