A rare original wartime period Air Raid Precautions Services silver plated pin badge, in the form of unique style blue enamel title 'POOL STREET' bar, light and dark blue ribbon scroll below 'FIRST AID POST' bearing Latin motto 'Semper Paratus' (Always Ready); the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Vaughtons Ltd B'Ham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. An excellent example.
