WW1 Princess Mary Christmas 1914 Gift Fund silver top bullet pencil

A scarce ORIGINAL First World War period '1914 Princess Mary Gift Fund bullet pencil'; the brass case engraved with Princess Mary's Cypher, stamped to the base 'KN 14 VI' and complete with 'Sterling Silver' bullet head and lead pencil. Good well used condition, no splits, but with a fair amount of dents to top, pencil sharpened with a knife.
Length approx 79mm.

These fine quality silver pencils were made by 'Asprey London' and given by Princess Mary as a gift to the Soldiers and Sailors fighting for King and Country, Christmas 1914.
