WW1 Battle of Verdun French soldiers bayonet charge badge

A very scarce original First World War period silver plated battle badge, portraying three advancing French infantry soldiers, rifles with fixed bayonets at the ready, with title scroll 'Verdun' enhanced with gold plating below. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings silver plating toned.
