Stockport Special Constabulary police badge

A scarce original circa 1933 to 1939 period 'Stockport Special Constabulary police badge'; large Crowned nickel plated title circlet inlaid with very dark blue almost black enamel, the centre shield bearing the Arms from Stockport; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Fattorini & Sons Ltd Bradford Works Birmingham' (a manufacturers mark used between 1933 and 1939). Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, nickel finish remains bright.
