Touring Club of France Cyclist Club TCF membership badge

A good original pre-1983 'Touring Club de France membership badge', in the form of a miniature nickel cycle spoked wheel, mounted with 'TCF' gilt monogram inlaid with red, blue and white enamel. Very good condition, complete with original pin fitting, enamel perfect, an excellent example.
Diameter 27mm.

The 'Touring Club de France' was founded in France in 1890, the association aims were to develop tourism in all its forms. It ceased operations in 1983 due to funding.
