A rare original fine quality early turn of the 20th century 'Irish Merchant Shipping Green Ensign silver gilt brooch', translucent green enamel field bearing golden Mermaid harp, with Union Flag in the canton, the reverse impressed '800' (Silver). Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel with small graze below harp not affecting the appearance.
