A scarce original vintage period 'DCM League lapel badge' designed in the form of a Lancashire Rose and enamelled in the colours of medal ribbon red blue red and inscribed to the surround 'For Distinguished Conduct In The Field'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Fenwick B'Ham' (Arthur Fenwick Birmingham). Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fittings, no damage to the enamel, minimal service wear.

Distinguished Conduct Medal DCM League was formed in 1931 by 'Bob Moyse MC DCM' from Lancashire, to look after the welfare and well being of holders of the Distinguished Conduct Medal who had been decorated during the Sudan campaigns, Boer War and First World War.
