A scarce original pre war period '1938 Aintree racecourse Liverpool County Stand gentlemen's membership badge'; gilt and enamel example with official issue number '506', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Bowman Ltd. Goswell Rd London', 'Including Tax' and 'Not Transferable'. Very good condition, no damage to the enamel, complete with original cord tied in a knot at the top.
