Automobile Club of Great Britain and Ireland 1903 badge Dublin made

A rare original '1903 Automobile Club of Great Britain and Ireland pin badge', large gilt green enamel ribbon title scroll joined at the base by Union spray and '1903' plaque, the voided centre depicting allegorical figures in a veteran car viz. Gordon Bennett Cup device; the reverse impressed with Irish maker's details 'West & Son College Green Dublin'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel intact, gilt finish remains bright.
