Walmer Canadian War Hospital 1915 to 1918 service badge Essex

A rare original circa 1918 period 'Walmer Canadian War Hospital silver gilt badge'; large title circlet inlaid with blue enamel, white enamel Maple leaf to voided centre and scroll below '1915 - 1918'; the reverse impressed Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1818, maker's details 'JRG&S' (J.R.Gaunt & Sons) and inscribed 'Ada Stevens'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
