RAF No 1 Air Signallers School Royal Air Force badge circa 1940's

A scarce original King George VI period 'RAF No 1 Air Signallers School gilt and enamel badge', depicting a radio lightning bolt symbol across an open book, with Latin motto 'Discite Vigilare'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Emblems Ltd, 15 /19 Kingsway, London, W.C.2'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
