Boer War Defenders of Ladysmith association badge

A rare original circa 1930's 'Defenders of Ladysmith Association' gilt and enamel lapel badge, the reverse with maker's details 'Fattorini & Sons Bradford House Birmingham' a pattern used between 1931 and 1935. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, gilt finish remains bright, damage to the enamel in the form of stress marks in the 1 o'clock and 6 o'clock position.
