A scarce original First World War period 'Old Boys Corps Volunteer Training Corps lapel badge'; gilt metal convex circular example, bearing old english script 'OBC' and 'Pro Patria' motto to seeded background; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.B.Sale Ltd B'Ham'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, gilt finish remains bright.
Diameter 24mm.

'Old Boys Corps' was restricted to Old Public School and University, men and friends.
