Royal Navy Admiral-class battlecruiser ship lifebuoy badge possibly HMS Hood

A scarce original circa 1940's period brooch in the form of a silver plated outline of a 1920's battlecruiser ship mounted on a gilt brass white painted enamel bouy and believed to be a representation of HMS Hood. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings that would be compatible with the period stated, minor service wear.
