WW1 National Reserve London home front badge

A scarce original First World War period 'National Reserve London gilt badge' unusual small pattern example in the form of a blue enamel oval title, gilt Crown on solid white enamel centre, bearing an additional red enamel outer band, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R. Gaunt London'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, enamel with flake loss in the 10 o'clock position, gilt finish remains bright.
