A scarce original early pre war period 'Gorleston-on-Sea holiday camp badge'; star pattern chromium plated example, displaying a highly enamelled early representation of the camp, the reverse with large buttonhole fitting. Very good condition.
Height 26mm.

'Gorleston Holiday Camp' was situated on Bridge Road, Gorleston on Sea, Great Yarmouth where people spent their summer holidays from the 1930's to the 1970's. It was closed during the war years and used as a military training camp. It reopened in 1946.
