WW1 Chief Constable Citizen Corps Sheffield special police badge

A scarce original First World War period 'Sheffield Special Constable badge', gilt brass circular example, blue enamel title surround, convex button style centre bearing the 'Coat of Arms of Sheffield', the reverse impressed 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
