A scarce original circa 1978 worn only for a short period before being replaced 'Express Air Services airline officers' pilot wing badge', large gilt metal wings, the central green enamel disc displaying a 'CE' logo, the reverse complete with two original clutch pins and retainers. Very good used condition.
Width approx 81mm.

Formed in 1978 as 'Express Air Services' to operate freight services between Bournmouth and the Channel Islands. The company gained Royal Mail Post Office contracts in the early 1980's and changed its name to 'Channel Express' in 1983.
