British Railways Midland Region totem style cap badge by J.R.Gaunt

A scarce original 1949 to 1955 issue 'British Railways Midland Region gilt metal convex cap badge' inlaid with red enamel, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Very good condition, complete with original two rectangular loop fittings and one of two retaining clips, no damage to the enamel.
