A very scarce original 'Monica Road Coronation Party 1953 helpers badge', designed for the celebrations of Queen Elizabeth on 2 June 1953, in the form of a silver plated rose medallion suspended from a pin bar, with an embossed title circlet inlaid with red and blue enamel, the centre with uncrowned head of the monarch; the reverse impressed with the name 'P. Barrett'. Very good condition, retaining original pin fitting, enamel perfect, bright, minimal wear.
