A good original late issue 'Church Lads Brigade medal'; gilded brass example in the form of a Maltese Cross bearing the brigades' emblem and inlaid with blue and white enamel with red cross to the centre. Very good condition, complete with original silk ribbon with additional year bar 1961 and suspension with pin fiitings.
Height approx 93mm.

The Church Lads' Brigade was founded in 1891 in Fulham by Walter Mallock Gee, their motto being 'Fight the Good Fight'. In 1978 they amalgamated with the Church Girls' Brigade to become the Church Lads' and Church Girls' Brigade.
