St Christopher 1957 silver guilloche enamel motor car dashboard badge

A superb quality rare original dashboard plaque from a prestigious French motor car, depicting Saint Christopher with title surround 'REGARDE St CHRISTOPHE PUIS VA T'EN RASSURE' with white guilloche translucent enamelling and superimposed on black enamel bar with fixing rings; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1957 and maker's details 'T&S' (Turner & Simpson, Birmingham) and 'Made in England'. Very good condition, no stress marks or damage to the enamel. An excellent example.
