A scarce original circa Great War period 'Church Lads Brigade Battalion cap badge'; die-stamped blackened brass 'Maltese Cross'; title circlet 'The King's Royal Rifle Corps' bugle to voided centre surmounted by a crowned "Fight The Good Fight" tablet, the top and bottom arm of the cross embossed "C.L.B Cadets". Very good condition, complete with original slider fitting.
Height 46mm.

An advertisement in the November 1914 edition of the 'The Brigade' magazine requests:
