The Link 1937 to1939 Anglo German fascist supporters badge

A rare original brass and enamel fascist membership badge for the organization known as 'The Link' which were in existence for a very short time between the years 1937 and 1939, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London' and impressed with official issue number '1820'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Height 19mm. Width 32mm.
The Link was a non-party organisation founded by Admiral Sir Barry Domville, K.B.E., C.B, C.M.G., with the view to promote good relations between the British and German peoples. The main office was at 'Link House, 230, Strand, London, W.C.2.' with other branches in England, Scotland, Ireland and Germany.
