National Union of General Workers NUGW trade union badge c.1916 to 1924

A good original circa 1916 to 1924 early period 'National Union of General Workers trade union badge'; large brass shield, inlaid with red enamel, blue enamel title surround the centre displaying a triangle inscribed 'Love Unity Fidelity'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Caville Mayes Rd Wood Green London'. Very good condition, complete with original slider fittings, no damage to the enamel but with surface scratches.
