Butlins holiday camp bar on square numbered STAFF badge

A rare original early period 'Butlin's holiday camp staff badge'; gilded brass example inlaid with white enamel, displaying a lined square with superimposed rectangular bar inscribed 'BUTlIN'S STAFF'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London' and impressed with official issue number '2738'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect, gilt finish remains bright.

Some interesting information accompanied this badge, stating it was used by staff at the Blackpool Camp, however I have been unable to confirm this.
