A scarce original wartime period 'Co-op Air Raid Precaution' warden badge'; gilded brass example inlaid with blue enamel, depicting a large corn sheaf flanked by farm sickle and spade with 'ARP' to the center and 'CWS' tri-part scroll below, the reverse with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham". Very good condition, complete with unusual original pin fitting associated with lady wardens, no damage to the enamel., gilt finish remains bright.
