A scarce original Second World War period 'Fisher and Ludlow Ltd chromium plate and enamel ARP badge, the reverse with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham' and impressed with official low issue number '352'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fittings, no damage to the enamel.
Height 21mm.

Fisher and Ludlow Ltd Birmingham was a British car body manufacturing company. In 1936 they were suppling body panels to 'Morris Motors Ltd' 'Standard Motor Co Ltd' and 'Wolseley Motors Ltd'. In 1938 the Castle Bromwich factory was specially constructed for wartime production and during the Battle of Britain the factory was damaged by incendiary bombs.
