St John Ambulance London Midland Scottish Railway badge

A good original circa 1940's silver plated and enamel badge, the centre depicting the St. John Ambulance Maltese Cross logo with outer red and white title circlets 'The St. John Ambulance Association' 'London Midland Scottish Railway Centre', the reverse impressed with unusual maker's details 'Alexander Clark Ltd Hylton St Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, minimal service wear.
