WW2 London Transport Railway war service badge

A very rare original early issue Second World War period 'London Transport Railway war service badge', brass oval displaying the full title and a Griffin in relief; with blue enamel 'Railway Service' bar across the centre; the reverse with maker's details 'Fattorini & Sons Bradford Works Birmingham' (a manufacturers mark used between 1933 and 1939) and officially stamped with low issue number '756'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, minor service wear.
